OVERVIEW

Jovento is a Saudi e-commerce brand owned and operated by Alliant Company, a registered corporate entity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Throughout these Terms of Service, “Jovento,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Alliant Company operating the Jovento online store.

These Terms of Service govern your access to jovento.com and your use of the information, products, features, tools, and services available through the website.

By visiting the website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies incorporated into them, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return and Exchange Policy, and Product Warranty Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the website or place an order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or replaces any rights granted to consumers under the mandatory laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform used to offer our products and services.

1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCEPTABLE USE

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase agreement. If you are under the applicable legal age, you may use the website only with the involvement and approval of a parent or legal guardian.

You may use Jovento only for lawful personal or business purposes. You must not:

  • Use the website or our products for an illegal or unauthorized purpose.

  • Violate any applicable Saudi or international law.

  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, customer accounts, payment systems, or connected services.

  • Interfere with the security, availability, or operation of the website.

  • Use automated tools to scrape, copy, collect, or misuse website information without written permission.

  • Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful information.

We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, Jovento, our service providers, or the security and lawful operation of the website.

2. CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS AND INFORMATION

You may be able to place an order as a guest or through a customer account, depending on the options available on the website.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account, placing an order, requesting delivery, or contacting customer support.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential.

  • Preventing unauthorized use of your account.

  • Providing a correct email address, phone number, billing address, and delivery address.

  • Updating your information when it changes.

  • Informing us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Jovento is not responsible for delivery failures or other problems caused by materially incorrect information supplied by the customer. This does not affect rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We aim to provide accurate product titles, descriptions, specifications, images, prices, availability, and compatibility information.

Product images are provided for identification and illustration. Colours and appearance may vary slightly because of lighting, photography, screen settings, production updates, or packaging changes.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, accessories, decorations, furniture, and other items shown for display purposes are not included with the product.

Customers must review the product page, specifications, measurements, compatibility information, included accessories, operating system, and available options before ordering.

Where a product requires compatibility with another device, application, platform, operating system, network, fitting, or installation location, the customer is responsible for checking the stated compatibility before purchase. Contact us before ordering if clarification is required.

We may correct a genuine typographical, technical, pricing, specification, or availability error. Any correction will be handled fairly and subject to applicable Saudi law.

4. PRICES, TAXES AND PROMOTIONS

Prices are displayed in Saudi riyals unless stated otherwise.

Applicable taxes, delivery charges, discounts, and the final payable amount will be displayed before the order is confirmed.

Standard delivery is currently free for eligible orders of SAR 350 or more after applicable discounts. For orders below this threshold, the applicable delivery charge will be shown during checkout. Delivery offers may be subject to geographic, product, weight, or promotional conditions disclosed before purchase.

Prices and promotions may change for future orders without prior notice. A price change will not normally affect an order that we have already accepted, except where correction is required because of an obvious and genuine error and is handled in accordance with applicable law.

Discount codes and promotional offers:

  • Must be used within the stated validity period.

  • May be limited to selected products, customers, payment methods, or order values.

  • May not be combined unless expressly permitted.

  • Have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • May be cancelled where obtained or used fraudulently or contrary to their published conditions.

5. ORDERS AND ORDER ACCEPTANCE

After you place an order, Jovento may send an electronic confirmation showing the order details. Receipt of this confirmation does not prevent us from performing reasonable payment, stock, delivery, security, and fraud checks.

An order is subject to product availability, successful payment authorization, accurate customer information, and our ability to deliver to the provided address.

We may refuse or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, including:

  • The product is unavailable.

  • Payment is declined, reversed, or cannot be verified.

  • The order information is materially incomplete or incorrect.

  • We identify a genuine pricing or listing error.

  • The order appears fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized.

  • The delivery address is outside our supported area.

  • The order violates applicable law or published purchase limitations.

If Jovento cancels a paid order, the amount collected for the cancelled items will be refunded through the applicable payment method. The time required for the refund to appear may depend on the bank, card issuer, payment provider, or instalment provider.

We may limit unusually large quantities where an order appears to be intended for unauthorized resale or where product availability is restricted. Business, wholesale, or distribution orders may require separate written terms.

6. PAYMENT

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout and may include bank cards, digital wallets, instalment services, or other approved payment options.

Payment processing may be provided by banks and third-party payment providers. Their separate eligibility checks, approval conditions, payment schedules, and privacy terms may apply.

Jovento does not ordinarily receive or store complete payment-card details. These details are processed through authorized payment systems.

You confirm that:

  • You are authorized to use the selected payment method.

  • The payment and billing information submitted is accurate.

  • Sufficient funds or approved credit are available.

  • You will comply with the conditions of the selected payment provider.

An order may be placed on hold or cancelled if payment is not completed, is reversed, or cannot be verified.

7. DELIVERY

Jovento currently delivers to supported locations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Orders are normally processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation. Standard delivery usually takes approximately 5–7 business days after dispatch. These are normal estimates and may vary according to location, product type, carrier capacity, public holidays, weather, address accuracy, or other operational circumstances.

Where tracking is available, the tracking number or link may be sent to the email address or phone number provided with the order.

The customer must ensure that:

  • The delivery address and contact number are correct.

  • An authorized person is available to receive the order.

  • Access to the delivery location is reasonably available.

  • Any visible package damage or shortage is reported promptly.

If delivery is delayed, we will provide available information and take reasonable steps to resolve the delay. Where the delay gives the customer a right to cancel under Saudi law, the customer may cancel and recover the applicable amounts in accordance with that law.

Risk in the product passes according to applicable law and the confirmed delivery arrangements. Delivery does not remove any rights relating to damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete products.

8. ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Contact Jovento Customer Support immediately if you need to change or cancel an order.

We will attempt to process the request, but changes cannot be guaranteed after payment processing, preparation, or dispatch has begun.

Once an order has been transferred to the courier, it may need to be handled as a return after delivery. Applicable return-shipping costs may be deducted where the cancellation is due to a change of mind or customer ordering error and the law permits this.

Nothing in this section restricts a customer’s right to cancel because of a qualifying delivery delay, product defect, incorrect product, misleading description, or another right granted under applicable Saudi law.

9. RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

Eligible products may be returned within seven calendar days following receipt, provided that the product has not been used or installed and is returned undamaged with its original packaging, accessories, manuals, promotional items, and proof of purchase.

For a change of mind, compatibility error, size error, or incorrect product selection made by the customer, the customer is responsible for applicable return-shipping or collection costs unless we agree otherwise.

The seven-day change-of-mind right may not apply where an exclusion permitted by Saudi law applies, including certain:

  • Products made or modified according to the customer’s specifications.

  • Used digital media or software products.

  • Products damaged because of customer handling or misuse.

  • Products that cannot be resold for health or hygiene reasons.

  • Products or services otherwise lawfully excluded from return.

These exclusions do not apply where the product is defective, materially different from its description, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise covered by mandatory consumer rights.

Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the bank, card issuer, payment provider, or instalment provider.

If an order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery. Provide the order number and clear photographs or video showing the product, packaging, shipping label, and reported issue.

The 48-hour reporting request helps us investigate the matter quickly. It does not remove or shorten any mandatory consumer right.

10. PRODUCT WARRANTY AND AFTER-SALES SUPPORT

Eligible televisions, monitors, and other electrical or electronic products include a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects unless a longer confirmed warranty is stated on the product page, packaging, or invoice.

Non-electronic products do not automatically include a two-year warranty unless specific coverage is confirmed on the product page or invoice.

Warranty service may require:

  • Proof of purchase.

  • The product model and serial number.

  • A clear description of the issue.

  • Photographs or video where reasonably required for diagnosis.

  • Inspection by Jovento, Alliant Company, an authorized service provider, supplier, or manufacturer.

Warranty coverage normally does not include damage resulting from misuse, accident, unauthorized repair, improper installation, unsuitable voltage, liquid exposure, physical damage, failure to follow instructions, or normal wear and tear, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Warranty exclusions will not be used to deny a valid claim for a manufacturing defect or another right protected under Saudi law.

Repair, replacement, refund, spare-part availability, and other remedies will be handled according to the product condition, applicable warranty, and mandatory Saudi consumer-protection requirements.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Some website functions may rely on third parties, including Shopify, payment gateways, banks, digital-wallet providers, instalment providers, delivery companies, review services, analytics services, and customer-support tools.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms, eligibility requirements, and privacy policies. Jovento is not responsible for a third party’s independent systems or decisions, except to the extent that applicable law makes us responsible.

Links to external websites are provided for convenience. Their inclusion does not mean Jovento controls or endorses all information, products, services, or practices found there.

12. REVIEWS, COMMENTS AND SUBMISSIONS

If you submit a product review, photograph, comment, suggestion, or other content, you confirm that:

  • You created it or have permission to submit it.

  • It is accurate and relates to a genuine experience where represented as such.

  • It does not infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights.

  • It does not contain unlawful, defamatory, abusive, deceptive, obscene, or malicious content.

  • It does not contain malware, spam, or unauthorized advertising.

You grant Jovento a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display, reproduce, translate, format, and use the submitted content for operating and promoting Jovento and its products, subject to applicable privacy and intellectual-property laws.

We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law. We are not required to publish every submission.

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website and its original content—including the Jovento name, design, text, graphics, layout, product presentation, photographs, videos, software, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Jovento, Alliant Company, or the relevant rights holder.

Brand names, logos, product images, and trademarks belonging to manufacturers or other third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

You may use the website for normal personal shopping and internal business evaluation. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, distribute, modify, scrape, or commercially exploit website content without prior written authorization from the relevant rights holder.

14. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

Our collection and processing of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the website, you acknowledge that personal data may be processed by Jovento, Shopify, payment providers, delivery companies, and other authorized service providers as described in that policy and subject to applicable Saudi data-protection laws.

15. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY AND SECURITY

We aim to keep the website available, accurate, and secure. However, temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, security incidents, network failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue a website feature when reasonably necessary. Where a change affects an accepted customer order, we will handle the matter according to the confirmed order and applicable law.

You must not attempt to bypass website security, access restricted systems, interfere with checkout, manipulate prices, or use the website in a way that damages Jovento or another person.

16. DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits:

  • Mandatory consumer rights.

  • Liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or gross negligence.

  • Liability for personal injury or property damage where it cannot legally be excluded.

  • Product warranty obligations imposed by law.

  • Any other liability that cannot be excluded under Saudi law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jovento is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses that are not a natural result of our breach, or for losses caused solely by:

  • Incorrect information supplied by the customer.

  • Customer misuse or unauthorized modification of a product.

  • Failure to follow product, safety, installation, or compatibility instructions.

  • An independent third-party service outside our reasonable control.

  • Events of force majeure or other circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented.

This section does not affect the customer’s right to a repair, replacement, refund, compensation, or another remedy where required by applicable law.

17. FORCE MAJEURE

Jovento will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, civil emergencies, transportation disruption, customs delays, telecommunications failure, labour disruption, epidemic, war, or widespread system failure.

Where such an event affects an order, we will notify the customer where reasonably possible and explain the available options. Mandatory rights concerning cancellation and refunds remain applicable.

18. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION

You may stop using the website at any time.

We may suspend or terminate an account or restrict access where we reasonably believe that the user has:

  • Violated these Terms.

  • Engaged in fraud or unlawful activity.

  • Misused payment, return, refund, promotion, or review systems.

  • Threatened website security or another person’s rights.

  • Provided materially false information.

Termination does not cancel obligations or liabilities that arose before termination, including payment obligations, refund rights, warranty rights, intellectual-property obligations, and dispute-resolution rights.

19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our operations, website features, services, policies, or legal obligations.

The latest version will be published on jovento.com with an updated “Last updated” date.

Changes normally apply from the date they are published and will not reduce rights already attached to a previously accepted order unless required by law or agreed with the customer.

Continued use of the website after a change means that the updated Terms will apply to future use and future orders.

20. SEVERABILITY AND WAIVER

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

If Jovento does not immediately enforce a provision, this does not mean that we permanently waive the right to enforce it later.

21. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the policies and order information referenced in them, form the agreement governing your use of Jovento and purchases made through the website.

If a product page, confirmed promotion, invoice, warranty document, or mandatory law gives the customer more favourable rights than these general Terms, those more favourable rights will apply to the relevant matter.

22. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms and purchases made through Jovento are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

If a concern arises, please contact Jovento first so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve it.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a customer from submitting a complaint to the Saudi Ministry of Commerce or another competent authority, or from bringing a claim before the competent courts or dispute-resolution bodies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
